Charlotte Amalie harbour from the hillside

Why BackitUPS

Power is personal here.

We are not shipping boxes from a warehouse three time zones away. We live on the same grid you do, and we lose power on the same afternoons.

Local business

Built for the way we live here.

BackitUPS started because buying backup power in the territory used to mean guessing. You would read a spec sheet, order something from the mainland, wait, and find out later whether it actually did the job. We wanted the other version: stock you can see, advice from someone who knows what a hillside house on a long feeder actually experiences, and a phone number that reaches a person.

01

We size it honestly

If the system you are asking about will not run your air conditioner for as long as you want, we say so before you buy it, not after. Oversold systems come back, and so do the customers who bought them.

02

We keep stock on island

Local inventory means you can see a unit, carry it out, and have it charged the same day. It also means we are not quoting you something that arrives in six weeks.

03

We explain rather than sell

Most people arrive knowing what frustrates them and not much about watt-hours. Ten minutes of plain explanation usually produces a better decision than any comparison chart.

04

We support what we sell

Setup, app configuration, expansion questions two years later. Being an authorized EcoFlow dealer matters most at the point where something needs sorting out.

05

We understand island infrastructure

Long feeders, salt air, surges, water pumps on cisterns, houses built up a hillside in stages. Systems designed elsewhere do not always account for how power behaves here.

Local

Virgin Islands owned and operated, with support from people on the same grid.

Authorized

An authorized EcoFlow dealer, with genuine product and proper support paths.

Scalable

Systems that start at one room and grow to whole-home, on your timeline.

Visit us

Come and see it running.

Bring a photo of your panel, a rough list of what you want to keep on, and any questions you have been carrying since the last outage. Most visits end with a clear answer and no pressure to buy anything that day.

Address, hours and phone number are placeholders. Update them in includes/config.php.

Education

A better informed customer buys the right thing once.

We run short sessions and write plain guides because the alternative is people spending real money on the wrong size system. Everything in the learning centre is free and none of it requires you to buy from us.
